So, you're moving to Kenton. Congrats!
Here is some helpful information to make your transition easier!
Electrical Aggregation Program
Instruction on how to opt-in to the city's negotiated rate:
1. Identify current energy supplier. Identify current energy charge. Rate negotiated by city of $0.0561 per kWh until May 2025.
2. To get out of current supplier call number listed on bill. Be aware that an early termination fee may apply. This often takes a couple of billing cycles to be completed.
3. Call 1-866-636-3749 and ask to opt-in with the City of Kenton's Electric Aggregation Program. The rate should be $0.0561 per kWh until May 2025.
If there is a resident engaged in a separate third-party supplier agreement and they wish to join the City's aggregation program with Energy Harbor, the resident needs to clarify any early termination fees with their current supplier. If there are no fees (or if the resident is ok with paying such fees), the resident can call Energy Harbor and request to enroll in the City's program. A copy of the City's opt-out letter that contains this information will be mailed to resident.
