So, you're moving to Kenton. Congrats!
Here is some helpful information to make your transition easier!
Electrical Aggregation
If you received a letter from Energy Harbor
1. Verify that your current supplier is IGS at a rate of $.0434/kWh. This is found on your bill, left hand side middle of page. OR, verify that your supplier is AEP.
2. We will be switching to Energy Harbor in June at a rate of $.0561/kWh. The IGS contract expires at end of May, 2022. If you wish to receive the rate of $.0561/kWh you do not need to do anything.
3. If you wish to OPT-OUT of the City’s electrical aggregation and the $.0561/kWh, 1.) return to the opt-out card you received in the mail or 2.) call Energy Harbor at 1-866-636-3749 and opt-out over the phone or 3.) enter your 10-digit opt-out code online at energyharbor.com/opt-out.
If there is a resident engaged in a separate third-party supplier agreement and they wish to join the City's aggregation program with Energy Harbor, the resident needs to clarify any early termination fees with their current supplier. If there are no fees (or if the resident is ok with paying such fees), the resident can call Energy Harbor and request to enroll in the City's program. A copy of the City's opt-out letter that contains this information will be mailed to resident.
