Kenton owns and operates a 265,914 gallon swimming pool on Hillcrest Lane which includes a slide, two diving boards and a raindrop waterfall. It underwent a total renovation as of April 2020.

Alcohol is not permitted in any of the pavilions or picnic shelter. 

Cleanup is required and trash receptacles are provided. 


Our parks need your support in reporting any vandalism or inappropriate behaviors you witness.  For emergencies call 911 for non emergencies email or call the Parks and Recreation Director.

Fishing

France Lake ( aka. Quarry) requires a yearly fishing permit. 

  1. 15 inch limit on bass 
  2. 5 per day legal catch limit.

111 W. Franklin St. Kenton, OH.

Sat. & Sun. - Permits are sold in the Bait Shop located at France Lake during open hours.

France Lake ( aka. Quarry) requires a yearly boating permit. 

No motorized boats allowed.

Proper permits are REQUIRED to be on boats.

Rules

France Lake is a public lake however, management requires that all citizens follow the outlined rules. 

If rules are not followed management reserves the right to remove all violators. 

We have a ZERO tolerance policy.

Bait Shop/ Convenience Store

The City of Kenton owns an on site shop which provides bait and fishing equipment as well as small household convenience items such as bread, milk and other items.

Saulisberry Park is open from April 1 to October 31 each year.

Saulisberry Park offers camp sites of various lot sizes and an on-site full time Park Manager.

The park is located at the stone quarry, France Lake, which is located off of OH-67 West and owned by the City of Kenton.

We offer fishing, camping, and hiking as well as a small playground, a dirt bike track, and a shelter house.

Electric, Water, Sewer Lots

There are lots with water, electric and sewer look ups.  Which are reserved on a first come first serve basis.

Electric Lots

Our campground offers lots with electric only.

Primitive Lots

We offer primitive camping lots with no water, sewer or electric hookups.

Electric and Water Lots

We offer 20 lots on the back row of our campground which has only water and electric. 

Zero Tolerance Policy

The City of Kenton has a strict contract and set of rules for all renters to follow. We have a zero tolerance policy and reserve the right to evict any/all partiers that violate the policy.


We take the security of our park very seriously and want to make it a safe and fun park for all.
